162: A PAIR EARLY 20TH C. VENETIAN ROCOCO ARM CHAIRS

Each in the Venetian Rococo style with double arched crest rail and pierced carved foliate handhold, on serpentine stiles and centering an open vasiform splat painted with sprays of flower and foliate above an over-upholstered trapezoidal seat, raised on cabriole legs knees painted with suspended blossoming garlands and terminating in scrolled toes. Upholstered in check print. Measure 33.5 x 23 x 19 inches.
