235: A 24-INCH JAPANESE PORCELAIN VASE CIRCA 1860

A large two-handled baluster vase, probably Kutani, with narrow waisted neck and widely flared oversize rim, decorated in large red and black lacquer panels with geese and pheasants amongst flowering plants, the remainder principally with lesser panels on a tightly scrolled & flowered iron red ground, the base with a pseudo Chinese style mark. Stands 24.5 x 10 inches, dragon head handles, marked base.
We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
No chips, cracks or repairs. Some wear to paint and at neck.
