251: FRANK NUDERSCHER (1880 - 1959) OIL ON ARTIST BOARD

Oil on artist's board in the original frame, titled verso, 'Shephard Mountain from Fort Hill, Arcadia, Missouri'. Frank Nuderscher was a Missouri artist through-and-through. He painted industrial scenes in St. Louis and mountain landscapes in the Ozarks. He founded two Missouri art schools, he exhibited at the Missouri State Fair and at the St. Louis Museum of Art. His listing of public commissions, exhibitions, awards, memberships and accomplishments is lengthy to say the least.

Very good original untouched condition, light soiling, the frame displays the effects of age and use.
