295: A CIRCA 1900 SEVRES STYLE PORCELAIN COVERED URN

A cobalt ground porcelain vase with oval vertical reserve centering full length portrait one side and floral spray the opposite side; a flat band with hand painted scene of a couple fishing, raised on a socle foot, gilt metal mounts, the domed cover with acanthus bud finial. Each scene and all decoration applied by hand, there are no areas of decal or transfer. A spurious Sevres style mark inside the cover. Measures 15.5 x 5.75 inches.

Very good condition. There are no issues of damage, repair, scratches, chips or excessive wear, very good strong gold trim without wear. No chips, cracks or repairs.
