372: AN OPALESCENT 'DANAIDES' VASE SIGNED R. LALIQUE

Lalique, "Danaides" Vase, Catalogue Raisonne Felix Marcilhac, number 972, design date 1926, issued 1928-1947, an opalescent glass tapering cylindrical form with wide flaring mouth and supported on molded circular foot, body decorated with six female classical maiden water bearers in bas-relief, marked R. Lalique France on base. Measures 7.25 x 5.5 inches.
