374: WAVE CREST VICTORIAN ART GLASS RECTANGULAR FOOTED BOX

A vanity box of Egg Crate form, opening to a satin lined interior, the sides enameled with jeweled flower heads and vinery on a red ground, raised on brass masked legs. Marked with the red decal mark. A rectangular footed box in unusual colors in the Egg Crate blank with a hand-decorated flowers, hinged gold mounts, tattered satin lining, pink inkstamp under the base. Measures 5 x 7 x 3.5 inches.

Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or wear. Manufacturing marks near the mark under the base commonly known as straw marks. Glue has been used to reinforce the plaster on the mounts. Very good, no chips, cracks or repairs.
