Nichols' notes regarding site 9 read as follows, “Located at north edge of field on north side of road on bluff where old U.S. 40 cuts thru bluff toward Mo. River bottom.” An image of this example is included in "The Archaeology of Missouri, I," by Carl H. Chapman, Columbia, University of Missouri Press, 1975, p. 80, and identified as a "bipointed biface."
