9: JACKSON LEE NESBITT (1913-2008) 1939 SIGNED ETCHING

This scene from the steel industry is the result of Nesbitt's having been commissioned by Sheffield Steel in Kansas City beginning in 1937 to produce etchings, paintings and promotional materials for the company. This work from 1939 was pulled in an edition of only 60 total prints, this being number 59 of that edition as indicated with the notation '59/60' lower center. This work is pencil signed by the artist lower right and fully signed in the plate with a date of 1939. The plate size is 11.75 x 9.25 inches. Sheet size is 13.75 x 11.5 inches, frame size is 17 x 13 inches. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good condition. The top margin is uneven, otherwise very good and very clean, not laid down, no damage, repair, punctures, tears, stain or repair.
