98: DAVID FREDENTHAL (1914-1958) GRAPHITE SKETCH

Titled 'Woman in a Kitchen' by a label verso, another clipping attached to the back is lettered African American Woman. Fredenthal was a prolific illustrator who studied at Carnbrook Art Academy and elsewhere. He was awarded mural commissions under the WPA and won numerous awards in many solo and group exhibitions. This composition is signed middle right, sheet size is 17 x 12.75 inches, frame size is 20.5 x 18.25 inches. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Sheet has been cut horizontally at the mid-point of the drawing and repaired verso with artist's tape.
