40: A 17TH C. CHINESE KRAAK EXPORT PORCELAIN BASIN

A blue and white export porcelain dish or basin, the interior decorated with a central flower and leaf design surrounded by eight floral segments that extend to the rim, the underside painted with long scroll designs and with firing sand remains attached to the base rim. Made for export to Holland. Measures 3.25 x 15.25 inches.
Very good condition noting two edge chips from the face of the rim and four areas of shallow edge roughness, surface scratches inside the basin. There are no major chips, cracks or repairs, no restoration.
