A Chinese square famille rose jardinière on conforming under tray; of gently flared form, decorated all over with a profusion of flowers and foliage on a black ground, the interiors turquoise, the base of each piece with the six character iron red mark of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Measures 8 x 8 x 8 inches.
Lime deposits on the inside the tray and the bottom of the jardinière. Minor chip to top inner rim, moderate effects of wear, age and use, wear to paint, no damage repair or wear beyond the small chip.
