This seventy pound sculptor's model is an exact replica of the Shoshone woman as she is portrayed in the 18 foot high Corps of Discovery monument commissioned for West Terrace Park in Kansas City Missouri in the year 2000. In some cases the Daub Firmin Studio firm has chosen to offer maquette models of their monumental installations. Sacagawea was interpreter and guide for the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery expedition in the early 19th century.

Measures 30.25 x 17 x 9.5 inches including base.
