24: A WWII ERA ILLINOIS WATCH MARITIME CHRONOMETER

Circular movement in a heavy brass gimbal, porcelain enamel dial with Arabic numerals and seconds bit, marked Illinois on the dial, mounted in a mahogany box with hinged lid, and fitted to a larger mahogany carrying case. Clock face measures 2 inches, larger case measures 7.5 x 9 x 7.25 inches. Larger case also with faint, partially illegible ink stamp of '...carrying case, made by Seth Thomas...'

We happily provide seamless in-house packing and shipping services on nearly everything we sell.
The chronometer winds and runs, minor wear to the brass gimbal as well as the mahogany cases, very good condition overall.
