A fine rosewood folding table-top viewer, the graphoscope lens on bone tipped upright rods hinged from underneath to fold-away and allow use of the two lenses for stereo use hinged to lie flat on the platform when not in use, scroll-cut decoration on the hinged photograph holder with glass panel for viewing transparencies, all folds flat onto the convex molded highly figured veneered frame. Ground glass light diffuser with crack. The inlaid maker's plaque lettered 'Stereoscopic Company Improved Graphoscope, 54 Cheapside, 108 & 110 Regent St.' Measures 5 x 12 x 12.25 inches closed and 29.5 x 12 x 12.25 inches open.
