93: AN ALEXANDER BECKER TABLE-TOP STEREOSCOPE PTD 1857

A nice rosewood veneer stereoscope with 3/4 corner columns, ripple molding and projecting base, Alexander Beckers stereo viewer was manufactured by Sealey & Lee, New York circa 1860s, ground glass diffusing screen. Measures 18.75 x 11 x 10 inches.

Nice rich tone to veneer, some cracking along the grain of the veneer, small chip to front near base, water stain to top.
