A beautiful and rare R & J Beck table-top cabinet stereoscope, the highly figured mahogany case with brass fittings and adjustment knobs, brass barreled lens tubes, lettered inside the left aperture ring 31 Cornhill London and in the right Achromatic R & J Beck, the front lens panel and opposite diffusing screen are interchangeable with brass thumb screws, large brass coined edge mechanism turn knobs, holds 30 or 60 views, a few missing view holders. Measures 19 x 10 x 12 inches.
