A circa 1870 English table top box stereoscope, fine qualit veneers with line inlays, rack and pinion focusing, inter-ocular mechanism, mirrored hinged top opening, ground glass lens for viewing tissues, brass fittings, mounted to a turned mahogany base, raised on a circular turned wood base with interior weight. Measures 16.5 x 8.5 x 7.25 inches.
