Henri IV Enfant (young Henry IV of France) after the sculpture by Baron Francois-Joseph Bosio (French, 1768-1845). A bronze sculpture with brown patina, the standing figure of a youthful male in Renaissance dress holding a sword in his left hand standing near a tree base. The base with cast reduction seal and founder's mark of F. BARBEDIENNE . FOUNDEUR . for Ferdinand BARBEDIENNE (1810-1892).
Marked at base with F. Barbedienne foundry mark Measures 19.25 x 7 x 7 inches.
Very good condition, nice patina and color. No issues of damage or repair. Very minor oxidation and surface color variation in limited areas.
