11: A PAIR 19TH C. GILT, PATINATED BRONZE CANDLESTICKS

Each circular bronze base with standing figure in 19th c. pastoral dress, one being a man holding basket of fruit and woman in long skirt holding a dove, each beneath the canopy of a sheltering gilt palm tree topped by acanthus leaf candle cups. Unsigned. Each is mounted to a slate base. Measure 12.5 x 4.25 inches each.
Very good, noting chips to the slate base. There are no issues of damage, wear or repair to the bronze portions.
