34: A PAIR CUT CRYSTAL TAZZA ON FIGURAL CHERUB STANDS

A pair of early 20th century fine cut English crystal basins fitted to silver plated Mappin & Webb cherub stem figural tazzas, the circular spreading domed foot from which a figural cherub rises as the stem standing upon a sphere, and each supporting a fitted hand cut crystal shallow flaring bowl cut overall with diamond, fans and teardrop pattern. The crystal basins fit the stands perfectly. Measures 10.25 x 9.5 inches with mounted glass bowls.
Very good condition overall, both silver and glass. The silver plating is strong and with little if any wear. The crystal portions are clean and without cloudiness or etching, one has a small flake under side not visible while in the stand.
