An enamel on copper portrait in ormolu frame centering a profile bust portrait of young woman in Renaissance dress, within an easel back gilt frame with stylized border surmounted by a ribbon and trophy crest of love - the torch, quiver of arrows and garland of flowers. Signed lower right Perin, presumably a reference to and after French portraitist Louis-Lie Perin-Salbreux (1753-1817). Measures 3.75 x 3.25 inches.
