76: A PAIR RENAISSANCE REVIVAL EMBOSSED BRASS MIRRORS

Deeply embossed brass over wood frame in the Renaissance Revival style; cartouche shape inset with rectangular beveled mirrored plate, the embossed frames with trailing foliage, clusters of fruit and flowers, surmounted by a crest of female mask, the corners with urns of fruit supported by large pronounced classical female maidens, apron base centering a shield-shaped cartouche and raised on two scrolled feet with rosettes. Measure 13.5 x 9.5 inches each.
Both in very good condition free from damage, repair or heavy wear. The patina is very nice.
