A late 19th century stool rectangular seat raised shaped apron with foliate carvings and four cabriole legs headed by C scrolls bracketing a flower head over a carved acanthus, upholstered in needlepoint of stylized flowers and pettipoint bird on a dark brown ground, and finished with nailheads. Measures 17 x 17.5 x 17.5 inches.
Scattered minor loss of needlepoint, good condition otherwise.
