A rectangular serpentine box with rounded corners, the hinged lid with cast repoussé scene of three putti encircled by rocaille, the sides of C-scrolls, flowers and foliage, serpentine front incorporated thumb piece with horned mask, foliage and blossoms. Mark: German silver marks including crescent, .800, etc. Measures 1 x 2.5 x 1.25 inches, 1.6 troy oz.
Very good original condition free from damage, heavy wear or repair.
