233a: A 20THC. LOUIS XV STYLE MARQUETRY CLOCK & PEDESTAL

A late 20th century bracket clock, the brass movement signed Franz Hermle and Sohn, in marquetry case with putto finial and embossed brass dial with inlaid numeral chapter ring, displayed in a Louis XV style bombay form marquetry case with bronze mounts; matching pedestal with marble top. The clock measures 26 x 12 x 5.5 inches. Pedestal measures 44 x 16 x 8 inches.
This lot was first sold in our February 25 auction and is being re-offered here because the buyer, Hoorain Fatima, failed to produce payment.
