A Japanese stoneware vase of bulbous, almost "Ginger Jar", shaped form rising to a short inwardly sloped neck, the whole covered in a mercuric green, crackled glaze, the base with an unidentified impressed two-character seal "Taizan"? Measures 6 x 5.25 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or wear.
