200a: A LATE 19TH CENTURY CARVED MAHOGANY LOWBOY

Rectangular top with molded edge over conforming case fitted with two frieze drawers over two short drawers, the drawer fronts carved at a later date with scrolling foliate against a stippled ground, scroll-cut and cockbeaded skirt, the whole raised on four cabriole legs with acanthus carved knees and terminating in ball-and-claw feet. Fitted with brass batwing pulls. Measures 32 x 37 x 20.5 inches.
Good with a very few chips, finish loss left stile.
