288: A LATE 19TH C. SEVRES TYPE PORCELAIN URN AS FOUND

A single urn with acanthus bud finial on domed cover, bronze goat head masks each side of the vase at its shoulder, floral decoration amid raised gold rococo enamels surrounding a scene of 18th century figures one side and a placid lake side scene the opposite side, a bronze acanthus wreath under the body, all raised on a porcelain socle on conforming bronze foot. No markings. The cover appears to be restored and fits the top collar loosely. The height is 10 inches. There are no chips, cracks, scratches or areas of wear noting the cover as mentioned.
