The powerful and iconic Edward Sheriff Curtis image 'Cañon De Chelly - Navajo' was painstakingly re-created through an involved process accurately replicating the Orotone, or Goldtone, images develop by Edward Curtis in the early 20th century. The accompanying certificate states that each work is, 'produced directly from Curtis' best preserved originals stored at the University of Denver.'
