The gracefully formed punch ladle retailed by Theodore B. Starr and bearing the Whiting maker's mark is decorated with hand engraved prunus accented by alloys creating gold and copper colors similar to the mixed metals technique.
Measures 12.5 x 4.5 inches with a total weight of 6.25 ozt.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage, wear or repair. there are no monograms.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts.
