431: A 19C. ENGLISH BARREL BACK CHAIR IN ORIGINAL LEATHER

The oak frame of barrel back form with rolled back having button tucked leather covering over turned spindles and brass tack construction has is finished with brass head tacks and raised on turned oak legs.
Measures 35 x 28 x 22 inches.
Good original condition as shown with character, patina and moderate discoloration to the seat, one lost button atop one arm.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts.
