The twenty pieced and appliqued Dresden Plate blocks on a muslin background with appliqued petals on the green and muslin border, hand quilted, muslin backing.
Measures 112 x 92 inches.
Very good condition, noting some scattered stains.
Provenance: The estate of Morton and Estelle Sosland.In Kansas City, the Sosland family name is synonymous with both giving, and the arts. Of their many contributions to the community, 'The Soslands gave one of the nation's finest private collections of American Indian art to the Nelson-Atkins' museum (nelson-atkins.org).
