The early 20th century porcelain stein approximately 1/2 liter is decorated under glaze in the Blue Onion pattern with fired on enamel logo for the Faust restaurant of St. Louis, pewter mounts with thumblift incorporates an inlaid porcelain lid over the body with lithophane of a German man and woman at a table.

Lot 502 in this auction currently up for bid - The 19th century German carved ivory stein 21 inches tall - has been removed from this Liveauctioneers.com catalog.
Measures 7 x 5 x 3.5 inches.
Very good condition, noting a hairline in the lithophane, there are no other chips, cracks, repairs or areas of heavy wear.
