501: A BLUE ONION PORCELAIN STEIN FOR FAUST C. 1900

A good early 20th century porcelain stein approximately 1/2 liter decorated under glaze in the Blue Onion pattern with fired on enamel logo for the Faust restaurant of St. Louis, pewter mounts with thumb lift incorporates an inlaid porcelain lid having an interior decal portrait of restaurateur Anthony (Tony) Faust over the lithophane base portraying dancing German revelers.

A late 20th century porcelain jar with cover is included. One antler is chipped.

Measures 11.75 x 5.25 x 8.25 and 6.75 x 5 x 3.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear to the good Faust stein. A chip to the antler of the other.
