20: A FINE LATE 19TH C. LOUIS XVI STYLE KINGWOOD VITRINE

A Kingwood and gilt bronze mounted vitrine, trapezoidal-shaped marble top with incurving sides, above an inlaid paneled frieze with gilded bronze laurel which centers gilt cast scrolling foliate designs flanking trophy motif, all this over conforming case fitted with a single shield-shaped glazed and keyed door opening to reveal a glass shelved interior with taffeta backing and glazed incurvate sides, a scrolling foliate mounted apron and stiles headed with gilt ram's heads with gilt-mounted chutes, the whole raised on four short cabriole legs with gilt scrolling foliate sabots. Measures 49 x 43 x 17 inches. Provenance: The Joseph Candioto Trust. We ship in-house for all items with the exception of very large and or very fragile pieces and some international shipments.
Very good condition with working interior light. Minor invisible marble chip repairs professionally blended. Excellent and clean overall.
