488: A BLACK FOREST CARVED WALNUT JEWELRY BOX C. 1890

The rectangular case on small bun feet is decorated by incised line design and rustic motifs in relief as well as pierce-carved hinged lids either end with openwork C-scrolls and heraldic shields.
Measures 4.75 x 12 x 5.5 inches.
Very good original condition, there are no issues of damage or repair, the original red interior covering is largely lost.
