The figure traveling a road is signed lower right and dated '40. The still life is unsigned.
Board measures 9 x 12.25 with a framed size of 13.5 x 16.5 inches and the board measures 10.25 x 9 with a framed size of 14 x 12.5 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor chipping to one as shown. No inpainting visible under UV light, very good overall, not relined.
Provenance: The estate of Kansas City artist James Britton Gantt who, along with his wife, studied sculpture under Rosenbauer at the Kansas City Art Institute in the 1930s.
