A fine 19th century case with modern quartz movement. The faux burled wood shield-shaped form pedestal case with a circular brass dial enclosing black Roman chapters and cut brass hands above single-key escapement, flanked by ram's heads, surmounted by a bronzed finial and supported on a socle base. Modern movement.
Measures 17 x 5.5 x 9 inches.
Very good condition noting replacement of the original movement and loss of the original feet.
