231: A FRENCH 'RETOUR D'EGYPTE' MAHOGANY SIDE CABINET

A 19th century French Empire two-door cabinet, the rectangular gray fossil marble top over conforming case fitted with a pair of recessed doors with brass lattice grilles, flanked by trapezoidal pilasters with ormolu sphinx head and feet, raised on a plinth base.
Measures 32.5 x 41.5 x 18.5 inches.
Very good original condition, one small veneer chip base right side, there are no other issues of damage, repair, replacement, wear, stain, fade, etc.
