79: A CIRCA 1910 PYROGRAPHY DECORATED CHAIR AFTER MUCH

A circa 1910 side chair, key hole shape back on circular seat, raised in four turned legs, the seat decorated in oak leaves and acorns, burnt technique on the legs, the chair back a nicely-executed Art Nouveau design after Alphonse Mucha depicting a maiden in classical flowing gown at a veranda wall with apple trees in colors engraved in wood using pyrography technique. Measures 29 x 17 x 19 inches.
Very good condition noting the absence of two dowels or pegs that when placed through openings in the base of the back are wedged under the seat to secure the back in place, no damage, repair or heavy wear.
