358: ORIGINAL FRENCH BICYCLE POSTER FOR WONDER CYCLES

An original chromolithograph advertising poster for Wonder Cycles Et Pieces Detachees (Wonder, Cycles And Pieces Detachees), the colorful view of an airborne classical maiden with laurel wreath rising above the company factory complex, after the painting by Meley, overlaid dealer's label C. BRESSON 128 rue de nimes across the lower edge, the printer's signature block of Imprimerie M-Beau Alais Clermont lower right, original metal bands top and bottom, circa 1890.
The overall frame measurements are 22.25 x 32 inches.
Apparently very good condition. This poster has not been removed from the framing, there are visible issues with staining along the tin bands top and bottom, particularly along the upper left where a dark stain cloud-form dark brown stain is evident, a few very minor dimples and light creases across the sheet, no punctures, ripple along the lower right edge, light toning along the lower end, stain in the lower right corner, very good color, very good complete original condition overall.
