A sun dappled street scene, signed lower left and dated 20. Provenance: Charles F.B. Robinson Trust, purchased directly form the artist in the 1920s by Mrs. Margaret B. Robinson. The Robinsons were a prominent Kansas City family and publishers of the Kansas City Social Register from 1880 to 1998.
Canvas measures 16 x 20, the frame is 23 x 27 inches.
Excellent original condition. There are no condition issues. No tears. no flaking or loss, no visible chipping, no punctures, there has been no relining, the stretchers and keys are original, apparently the original frame, UV light reveals a dark spot measuring 3/16 of an inch wide and 1/4 inch in length near the lower right edge, no touch-up or in-painting.
