Very good condition throughout. The very bottom compartment appears to have had dividers removed to make for larger spaces. Several loose mahogany wood pieces are present but it is not known how complete the arrangement may be. Otherwise the condition is very good to excellent. The exterior is in fine condition, displays very minor effects of age, primarily around the central brass plaque atop the lid where the veneer is slightly dry and subtly lifting. There are no other issues that would not respond to treatment. The interior effects are of the period and in good condition. There is no indication that any elements are missing, the precision tools are all clearly present.
