239: AN EARLY 19TH C SILVER ATLAS FIGURAL HOT WATER URN

The ball shape Sheffield plate kettle with orb form finial having matching bands of basketweave design, two ring handles and faucet all supported by a kneeling male figure as with Atlas, upon a square base, raised on four ball feet, no visible markings, circa 1840.
Measures 13.5 x 10 x 5.5 inches.
Light wear to visible copper on extreme high points only, no engraved crests or monogram, no dents or spots of heavy wear, strong silver remains.
