The white onyx case topped by a nice quality dore' finish bronze figure of Bacchanalia theme putto on wine barrel, matching stone dial with intaglio carved Roman numerals highlighted in gold, the plinth base with bronze trimmed stepped sections, time and strike brass movement signed Raingo Freres Paris.
Measures 19.5 x 14 x 9 inches.
Good to very good condition, noting that there may have been feet adhered to the four corners under the base, crack in the onyx at one back corner, a chip under that same corner, good intact running condition at the time of inspection. We cannot guarantee the running or timekeeping condition of timepieces once removed from the auction premises.
