(Circa 1870s.)
The unusual double bulbous form blown from opaque custard-colored glass, the upper portion cased in cranberry, good enamel decoration of a detailed warbler-like bird on woody prunus branches with flowering clusters of applied bright red glass beads in colorful clusters, nicely polished pontil, unsigned, manner of Thomas Webb.
Measures 9 x 4 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear. There are no losses of beading.
