Lloyd Chester Foltz was a prolific Kansas artist best known for his print making skills. As a charter member of The Prairie Print Makers, he received numerous awards, prizes and medals over his more than sixty years as an artist. But it's his oil paintings that are most sought after and least often seen. This rare, large example is an oil on canvas board signed on the front lower right corner and perfectly framed. No other record of an oil painting by Lloyd Foltz at auction could be found.
Board measures 25.75 x 31 with a frame of 31.25 x 36.5 inches.
Very good original untouched condition. There are no issues of scratches, losses, repairs, in-painting or touch-up.
