Alphonse Mucha was commissioned to do twelve covers for Hearst during his American exhibition tour in 1921.
Sight sizes 13.5 x 9.75, frames measure 21 x 16.75 inches.
Very good condition, noting minor surface and short edge creases, no visible damage, stain or repair, not examined outside the framing.
Provenance: The Estate of Robert Allan Haas. December 1921 was included in the US museum tour of Alphonse Mucha: The Spirit of Art Nouveau, organized by Art Services International, 1998 - 2000.
