The Italian faience charger decorated by hand in elaborate Gabbio style design incorporating serpents, gryphons and other winged creatures centered by an armorial device, signed back side with the cockerel of the Cantagalli pottery.
Measures 12.5 inches.
Very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, scratches or areas of heavy wear. There are minor examples of very light edge wear and some original glaze imperfections.
