199: A PAIR 20TH CENTURY CHINESE COROMANDEL LACQUER CABINETS

Each rectangular top centering a carved polychromed design of a bird flying amidst blossoming chrysanthemums above a conforming case having sides similarly decorated with birds on blossoming branches; fitted with paired doors one depicting maidens amidst a shoreline pavilion, the other with frolicking male figures within a mountainous landscape, supported on a waisted plinth block decorated with polychromed blossoming and scrolling vines.
Each measures 22 x 16 x 10 inches.
Very good condition, noting craquelure overall throughout each.
